These are pretty much done for the year. You may still find them on the way up to Mills Lake — check out the creek that runs out of the lake. I see them every year along the banks of Windy River accessed via the East Portal trail, but they have been done there for a couple of weeks — try next June!
Thanks very much! I found some tiny Heartleaf Twayblade orchids (off of Old Fall River Road) a week or so ago – they were nearly done for the year too – plus someone had decided that was a good place for a spontaneous latrine!?
