Sorry, no more gentians. I took a break from Rocky Mountain National Park and drove down to the Button Rock Preserve. I expected that the area flowers would be pretty done with the low altitude and higher temperatures, but to my delight I still found flowers. On the Sleepy Lion Loop I found a field full of Kansas Gayfeathers. Of course it was Rattle Snake Terrain so I was afraid to step off the trail to take photos, but I still got a few. Enjoy.
