I’m so glad to have a new season of wildflowers to report! Here is the first — the Pasqueflower is always the earliest wildflower of spring. It’s Easter purple stands out against the pine needles. These early blooms are at the Twin Owls loop — one of my favorite wildfl
ower walks that always delivers. In a few weeks I’m sure I’ll find it at higher elevations — look in Glacier Basin.
Wildflowers are still few and far between in Rocky Mountain National Park — much of the park is covered in snow. My blogs may be a bit erratic for a few weeks. But come June, we will have plenty.
So glad to have you back!
