The Wallflower

This is a Western Wallflower. It is usually bright yellow, but occasionally turns this deep, rich reddish-orange. It can be found on the roadsides throughout the park — especially near the main parking area on Bear Lake Road.

This summer I am on the hunt for its cousin, the Charming Wallflower (seriously, that is what it is called). It is smaller and pink.
